Game Spotlight

8 Ball Pro

Rack 'em up and grab a pool cue because it's time for game of 8 ball! Play the famous billards game 8 ball agains the computer or a friend. Use the cue to shoot the balls into the pockets. Adjust the angle, speed and curve to hit the white ball into the colored numbered balls. Eight-ball, sometimes called stripes and solids, or pocket billiards, is the most common game of pool played today. The name is a reference to how many balls need to be pocketed to win the game, but all 15 balls are used. Keep shooting until you fail to pocket a ball. When you shoot a ball into the pocket, you can still take the next shot. Once you failed, it will be your opponent's turn. Pocket all of the balls in your group. If you are shooting "stripes", pocket the balls numbered 1 to 7, so that you can pocket the 8 ball. If you are shooting "solids", pocket the balls numbered 9 to 15. Once you have pocketed all of your balls, pocket the 8-ball to win the game. Be careful! Hitting the black 8-ball into the wrong pocket, or pocketing the black ball before the other seven, results in an instant loss.
